The role and practical application of coiled aluminum wire
What is the difference between coiled aluminum wire and aluminum rods and rods? Both are made by extrusion or a process similar to sheet rolling, and elongated by using a die. Coiled aluminum wire is used to transport liquids in heat exchangers, food processing equipment, water treatment plants and many other industrial applications. Similar to rolling sheet, a rectangular ingot is heated, passed through a series of rolls, then gradually reduced in cross-section, and then coiled. The coil is heated, and if it is to become an aluminum wire, it is pulled through smaller and smaller dies. Extruded aluminum can also be drawn directly into bars, rods, and tubes, and then gradually thinned through a die.
Application fields of coiled aluminum wire:
To date, power transmission lines have been the mainstay of applications for coiled aluminum wire products. In this market, aluminum barely competes with other metals. Aluminum is a cost-effective way to provide electricity. Aluminum wire and cable are also used almost everywhere where electrical impulses are conducted, such as in commercial buildings, machinery and equipment, transportation and consumer durables. Wires and cables are used for small jobs we rarely think about, like rust-free staples in tea bags and retightening cable ties.
Coiled aluminum wire is used in various household appliances, switches, circuit breakers and electric motors due to its light weight, corrosion resistance and ability to maintain temperature even at low temperatures. This product is used in electrical products because they are lighter than other materials, it also reduces corona discharge, which is associated with high power transmission and excessive heating does not separate electrical equipment and connections, increasing the industry need.
