Properties and characteristics of Al-Si alloy welding wire (ER4047):
 
Aluminum-silicon alloy welding wire 4047 is often used as filler material for aluminium alloy work and casting argon arc welding and oxygen-acetylene gas welding. Especially for heat treatment strengthening aluminium alloy which is prone to hot cracks, good results can be obtained. This product is 12% silicon alloy welding wire, suitable for welding various casting machine extrusion forming aluminum alloy. Low melting point and good fluidity make the welding deformation of base metal very small.
