The heat-resistant aluminum alloy wire is to appropriately increase the allowable temperature of the aluminum wire, which can increase the stable current carrying capacity of the system accident, thereby improving the normal transmission capacity of the line. Through research, it was found that the appropriate addition of metal zirconium (Zr) element in aluminum materials can improve the heat resistance of aluminum materials. This discovery directly affects and leads to the production of steel core heat-resistant aluminum alloy wire. The wire has the technical characteristics of high temperature resistance and large transmission capacity. However, there are also deficiencies such as increased line loss, increased sag, and high conductor cost during high-temperature operation, thus affecting its application on long-distance transmission lines.

1. The long-term working temperature is 150 ℃, and the short-term temperature can reach 180 ℃, so that the continuous allowable current carrying capacity is 1.5 ~ 1.6 times of the common aluminum wire of the same specification.
2. At room temperature, it has the same strength as ordinary aluminum wire, and the mechanical strength retention rate at high temperature operation can be maintained at more than 90%.
