2017 aluminium alloy wire

2017 is a typical hard aluminium alloy in the aluminium-copper-magnesium system. Its composition is reasonable and its comprehensive performance is good. Many countries produce this alloy, which is the largest amount of hard aluminium. The alloy is characterized by high strength and heat resistance, and can be used as working parts below 150 degree C. The strength of 2017 alloy is higher than that of 7075 alloy when the temperature is higher than 125 degree C. The formability is better in hot state, annealing and new quenching state, and the heat treatment strengthening effect is remarkable, but the heat treatment process is strict. Corrosion resistance is poor, but pure aluminium coating can be effectively protected. Cracks are easy to occur during welding, but special technology can be used to weld or rivet. It is widely used in aircraft structure, rivets, truck hub, propeller components and other structural parts.
