(1) Aluminum welding wire should be stored in a special welding database. Pay attention to the ventilation and drilling of the warehouse. The relative humidity of the air should be controlled below 60%. Stacking should be 30 cm away from the ground and walls.



(2) Determine the type and standard storage, do not mix.
(3) The transfer process should prevent littering and prevent damage to the packaging. Once the package is damaged, it may cause the wires to absorb moisture and rust.
(4) For the barrel-shaped welding wire, do not roll during the transfer process, and the container should not be inclined or inclined to prevent the aluminum wire from being entangled in the tube and hinder the operation.
(5) The aluminum wire stack is not too high.
(6) Under normal circumstances, the flux-cored wire does not need to be dried, and should be used up quickly after opening. When the aluminum wire is not used up, cover it with canvas, plastic cloth or other items to cover the wire feeder (or spool). Cut the touch with moisture from the air.
(7) The CO2 used in the core aluminum wire shall be pure anhydrous gas.
2. Effect of aluminum welding wire on moisture
The moisture-absorbing aluminum welding wire can increase the diffusion hydrogen content in the deposited metal, cause defects such as pits, pores, etc., the welding process performance and the mechanical properties of the weld metal are degraded, and the weld seam may be severely broken.
